Major renovations, additions and updates to workout areas and service spaces include new finishes and fixtures as well as a more efficient and user-friendly space plan. Behind the scenes, the mechanical and plumbing systems get replaces and/or redesigned for greater effectiveness.
This is a two story building with basement. The gymnasium is on the second floor and a natatorium is on the first floor along with locker rooms, meeting rooms, offices, a child care area and workout stations. Additional work out stations and lockers rooms are also located in the basement.
The new entry and greeting lobby will feature a two story high glass curtain wall and will have an open grand staircase. The challenge on this project is to maintain operation of the majority of the facility while under construction. |
