A striking, one of a kind addition to its fleet of convenience stores and gas stations, this Wag-a-Bag marries the Hutto community charm into its design. Situated directly adjacent to the cotton and grain co-operative in Hutto, Texas, the design reflects the historical silos that once held an integral part of the city’s economy for countless years.

KAH Architecture strategically laced the silo theme into the design to ensure that the new store would blend with the original area. This includes spanning a cylindrical mass above the cash wrap allowing natural light to enter the space.

A new feature that Wag – a – Bag wanted to incorporate into the store was a separate dining space, allowing their customers to gather. KAH successfully accomplished this design element by merging a metal silo-like feature with the main portion of the building. The unique design makes this Wag-a-Bag much more than a convenience store – it is a place to gather for friendly hellos and pleasant conversation.
