Chasco Family YMCA
Renovations

In 2005, KAHickman Architects and Interior Designers completed interior renovations for the Round Rock branch of the Chasco Family YMCA. The Childcare and Administrative areas received a facelift for an inviting appearance while the Fitness Center expanded. A new membership desk highlights the entrance and a raised ceiling, bright new flooring and light walls ensure an open and airy atmosphere within the workout zones. This project was phased in order to provide the least amount of disruption throughout the facility. Although completed for under $200,000, the value of this project was over $750,000. Donated labor and materials from dedicated community members made the savings possible. This renovation is one of many that KAHickman has completed for the Chasco Family YMCA over the last several decades.
