Twin Lakes YMCA – Park and Camp

Park: Developed with an outdoor recreation grant from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, this 55 acre park includes multipurpose courts, sports fields, fishing piers, a boat dock and beach, hike/bike trails, and an amphitheater and gardens. Also included is a primitive camping area, playground equipment, aquatic gardens and a slide and splash pad addition to the outdoor pool completed as part of the original facility. The Tango Towers (ropes course) and archery range are popular areas with both corporate users and the YMCA’s summer camp program.

 

Camp: Located on undisturbed land at the south end of The Twin Lakes YMCA property in Cedar Park, the future Residence Camp is designed to accommodate 300 members for overnight camping. Fifteen cabins, each with living space, restrooms and sleeping quarters to serve 20 people, will line the banks and walking trails of Brushy Creek which winds through the property. The completed master plan includes a Welcome Center, 2 Foot Bridges crossing the creek, a Dining Hall with Camp Store, and Retreat Center.
