Round Rock ISD Round Rock High School
Additions and Renovations

Completed: 2001

This five-phased project touched all areas of the campus. Phase one updated the main campus buildings including new ceilings, lights and doors, remodeling to student and faculty restrooms and dressing areas, science room upgrades, and new paint in throughout. Phase two updated Dragon Football Stadium including 19,000sf of new concessions, restrooms, and dressing facilities, as well as new synthetic turf. Stadium bleachers, the boy’s gym, field house dressing rooms, and the coaches’ offices also received a facelift. Phase three incorporated design and construction of a new weight room and new restrooms for the original high school building. A new facility was constructed to accommodate the girls’ softball team in Phase four. The 400-seat addition also included a combination concession stand, restroom, and storage facility. A handicap accessible storage stand and dugouts were constructed in matching style. Phase five included electrical upgrades to the girl’s gym, as well as renovations for new computer rooms in the technology building.
