Size: 8, 140 sf Cost: $1, 200, 000 Completed: 2001 The Eye Center was designed with the premise of allowing the technicians maximum flexibility in coordination between doctors and their patients. Therefore, the facility was organized around a central Tech Station from which two main wings extend. Private office areas and the break room are “behind the scenes” towards the back of the facility. The Eye Center includes twelve examination rooms, as well as facilities for visual field testing, contact lens fittings, and a darkroom. Essential office features include a large business office and records area, as well as open office area for multiple doctors and a conference room. Also incorporated into the building is a 1,200 sf retail area and lab for Optical Design Eyewear.
