First Baptist Church of Killeen contacted KAHickman Architects and Interior Designers to provide master planning and design services for a new campus located on a twenty-acre site. KAH met with the church building committee almost weekly over a three-month period; the result is a classic church design centered around a traditional style worship center as the facility cornerstone. The heart of the worship center is a sanctuary seating 1,000 congregates highlighted by a stained-glass window preserved and relocated from the original church. Administrative and educational facilities comprise the rest of the building which is purposefully programmed to accommodate future expansion.
