City of Round Rock
Convention and Visitors Bureau

Size: 1,777 sf
Cost: $133,334
Completed: 2010

Through an extensive needs assessment with the City of Round Rock, KAHickman Architects and Interior Designers relocated the Convention Center and Visitor’s Bureau from an old house to a prime Main Street location. A one of a kind, full height ceramic wall and specially designed reception desk welcomes the public. New lighting and a wood brochure cabinet highlight and organize city literature. “Clouds”—acoustical tiles mirroring cloud shapes—create visual ceiling interest and give support for drop down accent lighting.
Private offices, a comfortable break room doubling as conference space, and ample storage enable efficient day to day business.
